9th GA CHESTER meeting


On the 15th and 16th November, the CHESTER consortium met at Tecnalia in San Sebastian (País Vasco, Spain) to discuss the latest developments on the innovative CHEST system.

The first day, the project coordinator, Tecnalia, gave a welcoming address to all partners. The meeting started reviewing the progress of the on-going tasks focused on the validation of the Smart Energy Management System (SEMS), future perspectives of CHEST, Renewable Energy Sources (RES)  integration potential, market analysis and replicability potential, and business model development.

Then an open discussion was held among all the partners focused on defining the technological roadmap required for the CHEST system for the next years to ensure a successful market penetration. The second day was dedicated to discussions about the economic profitability and potential market niches for CHEST. This helped to path the way for the exploitation plan and expected impacts. Moreover, the consortium also presented the progress overview, results, and next steps on the experimental campaign in the CHEST prototype demonstration. Then, the meeting followed by a summary of all the communication, dissemination and exploitation results achieved from the beginning of the project.

To conclude the meeting, the consortium presented the next steps which will be followed to face the last four months of the project.
